Learning New Force Powers

Many characters are probably getting to the point where buying up your Force Skills is getting expensive. I've mentioned this before but in case it needs to be put in writing if you wish for your character to pick up a new power without waiting to raise a full die level you can instead spend 3 character points to simply buy a new power.

Also from time to time in comics and such heroes will spontaneously pick up a power they've previously never knew they had while under extreme duress. So let's say your character suddenly wishes they'd previously picked up something incredibly useful but they never got around to it. At any point mid-game you can spend three points, even temp, to pick up a power you've never used temporarily. This power will go away at the end of the scene in which you used it, but you will then be allowed to take that as a new power after buying up your next pip in a related Force Skill.

Teaching New Force Powers

Another way to get around waiting until your next full die level is through sharing with each other what you've learned. So if one character wishes to teach another character how to wield the Force to learn a new power the character being taught can learn the new power at their next pip of a related Force Skill. Alternatively the new power can be bought at 2 character points rather than 3
