Incoming Message

In the middle of the night, or you assume as you were sleeping at the time, a day and a half after your self imposed isolation there is a knock of metal on metal outside your box.

The Captain is outside your box beeping rather insistently at you, but having no language skills or astromech training you have no idea what it's about.

The only reply is a very tiny, crazed whimper and the whuffling sound of cloth sliding roughly on metal as Artemis wakes and scoots, drowsy and afraid, further away from the beeping.

Your hair stands on end and any part of your body touching the box is met with a brief but sharp sting as the Captain zaps the box with his arc wielder, electrifying the box momentarily in hopes of waking up Artemis.

The beeping gets louder but slowly fades as the sound of servomotors outside the box seem to indicate the Captain is now moving away from your box.

Artemis yelps, fully awake now. He recognizes, after a moment, that it is the captain who has been beeping to him. He doesn't move; without understanding what the Captain is saying, as well as hearing the electric whir recede , Artemis is unwilling to leave the box's comforting security of darkness and Force Silence. "Captain?" He stays where he is, although now he is alert and listening.

You're met with only the muffled sounds of the ship through the box at this point.

Unless prodded further, Artemis stays where he is. He doesn't leave.

[Btw, I feel like a heel. I was a heel. You're seeing the unstable side of me, and I'm sorry, George. I got upset over something completely trivial that really doesn't matter in the scheme of things and is not your fault at all.]

The Captain tends not to repeat himself, so you are not bothered anymore.
