Transmission to 13 routed through Vigil Droid Logistics Trafficking

I first check with the ember droid who is at the academy (The impostor. I would use his number, but I don't know it.) to see if he is willing to act as a go between for any messages that 13 is willing to send to me. If he is I send the following message to 13. If he is not I will send the same message, but modify the way that 13 can send a reply.

I would like to meet with you face to face at a neutral location. We both believe in the same cause, but our methods are greatly at odds. I think that it would be good for us to discuss our differences so we can try to convince the other of our point of view. If we can not reach an accord then I must challenge you for the right to lead our brothers. I fear that one of us must die for our cause to move forward. If we must come to conflict then let it be single combat so that no one else suffers over our disagreement. As for the location of this meeting I would like to suggest the planet Socorro. This is just a suggestion and I would be open to other alternatives. You can send your reply to the ember droid who is on Yavin. He will relay it to me.

VLTD 8

You finally receive a response from Ember saying he has an attached recording from your brother. The recording is voice only, despite sounding a lot like you, you manage to recognize it as 13.

"I doubt there is much for us to discuss unless you have finally come to your senses. However if you wish to challenge me to lead our brothers I gladly accept. 7 has a place on Socorro and has agreed to provide a place for us to settle our....differences. You can rest assured he does not work for me, if you would like to confirm with him I have enclosed a com frequency where you can reach him. Let me know when you would like to meet, I am very busy with preparations, but I always have time for....Family."

I send a message to 4.

"I am planning to confront 13 in two weeks on Socorro. He has given me a way to contact 7 who apparently lives on Socorro. I would like to find out what you know about 7 and his motivations."

I send a message to 13.

"I would like to meet with you in two weeks. My current work makes my schedule somewhat unpredictable, so I would like a way to quickly contact you in case I am briefly detained. I will try to ensure that this does not happen, but just in case I would like to ensure that you do not waste your time."

I send a message to 7.

"Greetings my brother. 13 gave me your com frequency so that I could get in touch with you. I am planning to confront him about the direction in which he has been leading our brothers. I have requested that the confrontation take place on Socorro in 2 weeks time, and he said that you can arrange a meeting place. I am also interested in your thoughts on 13 and I would like to know what you have been doing over the years."

"Seven only cares for money and having fun. I believe he may be capable of betraying you for the right amount of money, but thirteen is honorable if nothing else and I believe he would not allow seven to interfere."

"Seven can contact me quickly enough, relay any messages you have through him."

The veiwscreen shows a droid who while looking retaining the same chasis you all share has a silver finish and green optic sensors.

"Well hey there bro! Long time no see. I heard rumors you where out there fighting the good fight or some nonsense and was wondering if you'd look me up sometime and come visit the Casino. I got a nice set up on Socorro with a full bar, dancing girls, and any vice you might need. We also got a great fighting stadium I sometimes host gladiator games at. You and thirteen should be fine there. I already asked him and he's not letting me put it up on pay per view, but if you beat him and need a manager afterwards you come have a talk with me."

On the trip to Yavin I would like to spend some time getting to know my brothers. I think that I already know 5's motivations, but not 2 or 3's. What have they been doing over the years? Did they work with 13 the whole time? What are their areas of expertise? Given the state of the galaxy, which I fill them in on, where do they think that they can help?

I will also start discussing with them plans to put an end to the practice of memory wiping droids. Once this situation is resolved I plan to enlist the Ember droids' help to propose a bill in the senate. If the senate will not listen to us I plan to start a campaign of sabotage against the facilities that preform this procedure or manufacture the devices used in memory wipes.
OOC: I don't really need any details about this, because I imagine that it will occur after the campaign ends if 8 is still alive. I just wanted to let you know that I am actively discussing the mater of droid independence with my brothers.

In general you learn that 2 and 3 have spent a good bit of time studying organic beings in order to clone Darth Vader for 13. In their extensive studies they've come to pity the poor organics and their inefficient life systems. It is this pity that made them begin to question 13 and his need to eradicate the organics. 3 has especially taken to wanting to help organics and has an extensive knowledge of medicine which he hopes to use to "enhance" organic systems and make them more efficient.

They also seem to agree with you on your idea to stop memory wipes and make droids a true "race" in the galaxy.
